MUDVAYNE: 'By The People, For The People' Track Listing Announced

October 24, 2007

MUDVAYNE has announced the track listing for the first ever fan-generated album, "By The People, For The People", which is set to hit stores November 27. The highly anticipated new album consists of several live recordings, rarities, demos, as well as two new studio tracks, including the first single, "Dull Boy" (produced by Dave Fortman and recorded in New Orleans),as well as a never-before-heard cover of THE POLICE's "King of Pain".

The album is aptly titled "By The People, For The People", because it is entirely fan-generated. Since September 26, votes were cast and comments were posted to help pick the album track listing. In addition, fans submitted creative entries of art for the fan-generated album artwork initiative.

The CD consists of 16 tracks as well as 17 interludes that intertwine several demo and acoustic tracks, live versions of hits as well as two new recordings. Preceding each track is a personal introduction by Chad Gray discussing how each song came about.

"The creation of this album has been very exciting for us because we were able to do something with our fans that has never been done before; you voted and we listened," Gray said. "'By The People, For The People' is not just a title, but a collaborative effort with our fans to create a special and meaningful album."

Singer Chad Gray and guitarist Greg Tribbett are on tour with HELLYEAH for the remainder of 2007. However, MUDVAYNE will return with a new studio album in 2008.
